Since the fall of 2021, TCKIA has provided the online Ignitia
3rd – 12th grade course options (see below for details), but we now also provide a
3rd – 6th grade paper book option for families who obtain prior administration approval.

Ignitia is built exclusively for
Courses include text-based lessons, assignments, quizzes, and tests that engage students while they learn. Optional external web links, interactive learning games, audio and video clips, and off-computer assignments help students develop the skills necessary for academic success in a media-rich environment. The intuitive, easy-to-use interface supports digital literacy with interactive lessons available online anytime, and students benefit from the latest digital technology available in the e-learning marketplace while holding true to traditional values founded on faith.

Bible
Inspirational and practical, TCK International Academy’s Bible curriculum for grades 3 through 12 helps students connect Biblical teachings with real-life situations to form a firm foundation for living. Courses cover a wide range of topics to help students develop an understanding of the Bible, its principles and lessons, and practical applications of God’s Word as they learn and grow.
These include:

- Biblical Geography

Utilizing references from the scriptures, these topics help students explore the Old and New Testaments through interactive, age-appropriate instructional materials.
History and Geography
TCK International Academy’s online curriculum, offers students in grades 3 through 12 a comprehensive look at history and geography from a Biblical perspective. The courses in this discipline provide a wide range of categories including:
- World Geography
- American Geography
- World History
- Religious History
- American History
- Government
- Citizenship
- Economics
- Social Studies
These courses are specifically designed to help students to understand God’s hand in events throughout history and His influences on the physical landscape.
Language Arts
TCK International Academy’s Language Arts and English courses promote literacy in all areas of communication including reading, writing, listening and speaking through the use of interactive lessons infused with God’s Word.
Students will learn from online lessons, assignments and assessments that support lifelong communication skills with emphasis on essential skills including:
- Vocabulary
- Spelling
- Comprehension
- Penmanship
- Composition

Instruction for upper-grade students includes:
- Literature studies and the Bible as literature

Math
TCK International Academy’s math courses take students from the basics of simple arithmetic to complex problem solving as they advance, building their knowledge and skill proficiencies. Courses include:

Throughout the courses, students will strengthen critical thinking skills and learn to apply mathematical concepts to real-life situations to develop practical solutions.
Science
TCK International Academy’s exciting Bible-based science courses create an environment that explains God’s relationship with the physical universe and promotes understanding of the world around us.
As students advance from science basics to more complex topics, they will study a wide range of scientific disciplines, including:

TCK International Academy’s Ignitia electives (for 3rd – 12th grades only) were developed to provide a diverse slate of rigorous online courses that today’s families expect from an academic environment. From practical courses including business computer information systems and physical fitness to college preparatory courses such as trigonometry and world languages, students can fill out their schedules with courses that appeal to them and meet the needs they require for their future.
Some Ignitia electives (for 3rd – 12th grades only) are geared toward students with specific needs such as advanced U.S. history and advanced calculus, and all courses are Bible-based and geared toward helping students build a Christian worldview that will stay with them throughout adulthood.
Since our Ignitia curriculum (3rd – 12th grades) is modular, other electives can be customized based on a student’s needs. TCK International Academy is designed to be able to accommodate almost every academic need.
TCK International Academy has also designed and created 1-year courses for both Art and Physical Education electives. Each course will be taken once during each grade block: Kindergarten – 2nd grade, 3rd – 5th grades, 6th – 8th grades, and 9th – 12th grades. Courses are typically assigned during the year of initial student enrollment. Lessons include text instruction and supporting video teaching. Lessons are paced to parallel 3rd – 12th grade Ignitia modular curriculum. Art and PE courses are part of TCK International Academy’s ongoing fine arts enrichment program and complete, balanced educational approach.
Dual Enrollment Option*

Since the 2019-2020 school year, dual enrollment has been offered through partnerships with Nelson University (formerly SAGU) and Evangel University (EU). Dual enrollment is only be available for juniors and seniors who have academically met standards. Prior to the start of classes, juniors and seniors will receive a form, if approved, to participate in dual enrollment. It will then be up to the student and their family to make the decision to enroll and to follow the next steps with the individual universities.
All costs (i.e. courses, registration, books, etc.) will be in addition to the TCK International Academy annual tuition and will be paid directly to the individual universities. It is important to note, that when students enroll for any dual enrollment course, it is a college-level course and students are doing a year’s work of high school work in one semester. Students are permitted to enroll in up to two courses for their junior year and four courses for their senior year. It is recommended that students discuss their schedules, routines, and future plans before making the final decision to enroll as it will be rigorous coursework.
