Curricula Grades K - 6

TCK International Academy’s paper book curriculum is designed for families of Kindergarten through 2nd grade students to have exciting, hands-on learning with a strong emphasis on language arts. Also provided is the 3rd-6th grade paper book curriculum option for families who have limited internet access, or are in a unique situation where their educational needs would best be met through use of our paper book curriculum.

Classic literature, ample writing exercises, thoughtful lessons, math and science activities, and included manipulatives are all designed to meet current educational standards and make learning fun. Mentor Teachers are available to support student learning, grade assessments, and provide accountability for content mastery. When application is made, students in K-2nd grade are automatically enrolled in the paper book curriculum. Prior Administration approval is required before enrollment in the 3rd-6th paper book curriculum option. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Kindergarten

The TCK International Academy’s Kindergarten curriculum is a complete collection of materials that promote the joy of learning! From phonics books to science experiments, your child will have materials that engage their inquisitive minds. You are provided with completed lesson plans, trusted teaching materials and assessment checklists to support your TCK. The highlight of this year is a splendid collection of read aloud books and a beginning introduction to U.S. history.

First Grade

The TCK International Academy’s First Grade curriculum develops the beginning reader into a confident one through games and shared books. Math skills increase with interactive lessons and manipulatives to support learning. The highlight of this year is the Around the World curriculum which explores countries, people and animals from many places on earth!

Second Grade

The TCK International Academy’s Second Grade curriculum helps TCKs dive deeper into subjects for mastery. The language arts, U.S. history, and science concepts are well developed with thorough activities and supporting materials. The highlight of this year is the read aloud books that share stories of courageous and adventurous children.

*TCK International Academy has designed and created 1-year courses for both Art and Physical Education electives. Each course will be taken once during Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Courses are usually assigned during the year of initial student enrollment. Lessons include text instruction and supporting video teaching. Lessons are paced to parallel 3rd - 6th grade modular curriculum. Art and PE courses are part of TCKIA’s ongoing fine arts enrichment program and complete, balanced educational approach.

THIRD GRADE

The TCK International Academy’s Third Grade curriculum provides over 10 classic, fun story books for language arts development; math and science learning with hands on activities; a complete social studies curriculum to help students explore American History; and a fun Bible story book to deepen your child’s understanding of God’s Word.
